    AMENITIES & SERVICES
What to expect: Unusual for a condominium resort, a grand 1.5-story, light-and-air-filled lobby with several comfortable seating areas greets guests and promises families will have fun, honeymooners will take home memories, and independent travelers will find all the services and facilities they desire.

Amenity highlights: Between the beach, the sunning lawns, and the pool decks, guests find plenty of options for relaxation without crowding. Weekly, the resort provides a complimentary party and Polynesian music-and-dance show by the main pool. Hula and lei-making lessons create the appropriate Hawaiian-vacation atmosphere. For children ages 5–12, Camp Kaanapali provides morning and afternoon sessions of Hawaiian activities and education, including a Sugar Cane Train ride.

Insider tip: Although there's an activity desk in the lobby that most guests head for when they're thinking of booking excursions, tours, and activities around Maui, the beachside activities center can make all these arrangements also. Guests can then return immediately to sunning and swimming.

This 440-room resort offers guests a full range of facilities and activities, including a wedding gazebo atop a lush tropical rock garden. There are shops and a beauty salon. A day camp keeps children active. Oceanside massage, two pools, two spas, and plenty of sunning areas from the beach to immaculate lawns provide relaxation for adults. A weekly rum-punch party with Polynesian music and dance contributes to the fun-and-rest, Hawaiian-vacation ambience.
